A New Era: Democratic Voters Save America and Now Must Hold the Line

In one of the most thrilling and shock-and-awe moments I have ever seen in my years following politics and also as an American history buff, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, voters across a large swath of America went to the polls to not just rebuke Donald Trump and his administration far and wide, but to do it so hard it would be impossible for him to again falsely claim that it was rigged. Today, the Republican blame game has been in full swing, with literal idiot JD Vance even throwing Trump’s war of choice in Iran under the bus, “It was because of the Iran War,” couchfuckerpuppetboy said.

It wasn’t just the war in Iran, though. There were so many other things as well. This wasn’t a one issue blue wave, it was the plethora of issues that I listed in yesterday’s post and so many more.

Millions of Americans saved our country yesterday in a response to the worst crisis we’ve seen since World War 2.

Now we need to somehow figure out how to hold the line for the next 2 months while Donald Trump has free reign to do whatever he wants.

US Senator Jon Ossoff, Democrat from Georgia, is greeted by supporters as he celebrates winning reelection in the US midterm elections during an election night party in Atlanta, Georgia on November 3, 2026. Democrat Jon Ossoff, seen as a possible candidate in the 2028 presidential elections, on Tuesday retained his US Senate seat in the southern state of Georgia, media projections showed. The win does not represent a gain of a seat in the 100-member Senate, but is nevertheless good news for the Democrats. (Photo by Erik S. Lesser / AFP via Getty Images)
